Hello and Welcome

I am glad you are ready to take the next step and either learning more or going ahead and scheduling an appointment.  Just like doctor's offices, there is paperwork to fill out before your first appointment. 

Making an Appointment

1.  Contact me either by phone (803) 875-1489 or email; contact@jill.crossgrove.com.  If calling, please leave a message with your phone number.  I will get back no later than the following business day.  If it is an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. 

2.  We will start with a brief phone call or email.  I may ask for general information about why you wish to begin counseling.  You will also have an opportunity to ask me questions, to ensure I am a good fit for your counseling needs.

3.  I will email you an invitation to my Patient Portal.  It will show up as an email from Therapy Appointment.  Once registered with the Patient Portal, you will be alerted to various forms that must be completed before your first appointment.  If you have difficulty accessing Patient Portal or the forms, please contact me prior to the appointment.

 

My goal is for us to begin therapy within 1-2 weeks, at the most.  Occasionally I have appointments available the same or the next day. 

First Appointment

Telehealth:  I use doxy.me for all my appointments.  You can log in using the links provided on this website, or request that it be emailed.  Plan to log on at least 5-10 minutes early to ensure the electronics are working well.  Give the program permission to use your camera and mic and I will log in at our appointment time.

In Person:  I use an office at Crossings Community Church, located at 2831 Clemson Rd.  Parking for the counseling center is directly on the left when you pull in.  Please call me at 803-875-1489 when you arrive and I will open the door at the time of your appointment.

Cancellation Policy:

Life happens, schedules change.  If you are unable to attend an appointment, please contact me via phone message or email within 24 hours of your appointment.  This allows me to fit in a person waiting on my cancellation list.

Failure to contact me or late cancellation will be billed at the full cost of the session.
